Do You Go On Holiday?

If you do; have you ever considered taking a Short Break with the RMSA? May I suggest you give it some

serious consideration for 2006. If you have considered taking a short break with the RMSA;

WHERE WERE YOU IN 2005?

My wife and I do occasionally book a coach holiday (NOT previously with the RMSA) and our experiences to date have been mixed. I had heard good reports of the RMSA Short Breaks and I must confess that my wife expressed no little scepticism. However, I used my persuasive powers and we booked for this year’s trip to Llandudno with Rover European Travel.

We returned home this evening and have both been delighted with all aspects of this holiday. The driver was first class. The Courier was knowledgeable and both were most courteous and considerate throughout the holiday. The hotel, a member of The Best Western Group (The same group the RMSA used last year) was

excellent. The rooms and facilities we could not fault and the food was varied and well presented with generally a different menu each day (not a chip in sight!).

When the hotels are booked we try to maximise the facilities that are or can be made available to us. In this case we had access to exceptional sporting facilities within the hotel complex some of which can be seen in the write-up of the short break in this Newsletter.

The planned excursions were not set in concrete and were changed or amended in line with the prevailing weather and our wishes. Most important of all was the company of good friends. Not all of whom were exactly in the first flush of youth or in possession of full mobility (myself included). This in no way detracted from enjoyment of the holiday by all concerned. What more could one ask for?

We look forward to seeing more of you at future events. Do please make the effort; for like my wife and I, you could enjoy it as we have. We are quite looking forward to the next one…where ever it may be.
