FAMILIES DAYThis time, with the help of Dr Iain Gray and Airbus personnel, we were able to notify our members about the Open Day in good time so that those who wished to could attend. Applications were sent out with the goodwill of Airbus who covered the cost of posting and despatch. The 278 applications received exceeded expectations and of these 11 did not enclose S A E’s and there was one where the postage stamp was replaced with a "By Airmail" sticker; we did wonder if his ticket was received faster by air!! Some S A E’s were somewhat on the small side, which did cause problems stuffing two A 4 sheets, a large car park sticker and ticket, into them. |

However, these small problems aside, the system worked very well and with the full cooperation from the Airbus site we believe that every one who applied for tickets, got them (including those who applied late due to holidays etc) We hope that all of you who attended enjoyed the day out especially with the added bonus of being able to look around Concorde.
